The Cricket Society was founded in 1945 and celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025.

Our illustrious past Presidents include Jim Swanton, Hubert Doggart and Christopher Martin-Jenkins. Our sister organisation the Cricket Society Trust, a registered charity, raises funds to help use cricket to support disadvantaged young people.
