Helping Young People to Participate in Cricket

The Cricket Society Trust was established as an independent trust to take over the activities of the Cricket Society’s Welfare Fund and to carry on those activities with the benefit of charitable status.

The Cricket Society Trust is a registered charity helping to deliver opportunities for young people to learn about and play cricket. We fulfil our charitable objectives predominantly by providing funding to charities and other institutions whose programmes are aligned with our objectives.

Currently, our funding helps to support the MCC Foundation’s Cricket Hub for State School Girls in Essex, Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation’s programmes to enable disadvantaged young people to participate in sports, education and recreation and the Fred Trueman Schools Cricket League as well as other programmes.

Today the Trust continues to benefit from its close association with The Cricket Society including through the holding of joint meetings and the sale of Greetings cards, both occasional and for Christmas.
