The North East Branch of The Cricket Society hosts its events at The Riverside Ground.  This cricket venue in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, is home to Durham County Cricket Club.  Formed in 1882 it is overlooked by Lumley Castle.

It’s dead easy to get to The Riverside whether you’re a Geordie, Mackem or Smoggy.  Handily located between the A167 and the A1M for wending your way by car and only a short amble of 15-20 minutes duration from Chester-le-Street Train Station.
